Amanda Schaub

Amanda Schaub is the founder of A&Co., a Boston-based marketing agency that works exclusively with restaurants and hospitality groups. She started A&Co. in August of 2018 after more than a decade inside the industry, building the agency on a simple bet: that restaurants are better served by a team that came up through hospitality than by generalists who happen to take on restaurant work.

Amanda has been working in restaurants since she was 15. Before founding A&Co., she spent three and a half years as the in-house Director of Marketing for a multi-unit restaurant group in the greater Boston area, followed by a role as Director of Marketing and PR for a downtown Boston hospitality group led by some of the city's most established restaurateurs. Those years inside other people's restaurants are still the foundation of how A&Co. operates today — every brief on the team's desk is shaped by what it actually feels like to run service.

Since 2018, A&Co. has grown into a team supporting brands across the Boston region, from neighborhood concepts to multi-unit hospitality groups. The agency recently earned a Netty Award for Best Integrated Marketing Campaign for Small Business, for its holiday pop-up at The Venetian in Weymouth, Massachusetts — a project that captured everything Amanda loves most about this work: a real partnership with a real restaurant, executed across every channel that mattered.

Amanda holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications from Boston College. She grew up in and around the Boston restaurant scene before relocating to Charlotte, North Carolina, during the pandemic. She now runs A&Co. from Charlotte with her full team in-market in Boston, and returns to the city every quarter to spend time with clients and family.

Amanda lives in Charlotte with her husband and their two young sons, born in 2022 and 2025. She's still happiest in a restaurant on a busy Saturday night.
